Paul Marsh

Managing Director

Innovator, entrepreneur and founder of the SUMS Group of companies Paul has been campaigning for better resource management for over 15 years, receiving the Green Globe Sustainability Champion Award for his efforts in 2012. He is an innovator of sustainability through the delivery of intelligent technology solutions and is committed to helping customers manage utilities simply. In his spare time, he is a boat builder and Land Rover specialist extraordinaire.

Bruce Atkins

Director of Customer Services

An accomplished innovator and engineer

Bruce brings 40 years of innovation and engineering experience to SUMS Group. These skills, coupled with a strong business acumen and a high level of customer focus means Bruce plays a key role in delivering the highest quality solutions to our customers. Outside of work, Bruce (a keen V8 Supercars fan) can usually be found  either filling the stands at the motorsport, or in his man-cave building and fixing things.


Margrethe Ingemann

General Manager Uridan Australia – A Division of SUMS Group

Our dynamic communicator – marketing for change With a diverse background in natural health and resource management, Margrethe’s primary focus is to encourage strong partnerships that drive environmental outcomes, customer engagement and positive business results. Originally from Denmark, Margrethe switched the cold for sunnier shores, and now lives in Sydney to balance the population after Princess Mary left to marry her Danish Prince.

John Wiles

Technical Operations Manager

Operations expert with a focus on technology John’s primary focus is product strategy and SUMS Operations – from technology and logistics to customer satisfaction and business development. He has a passion for business, technology and sustainability; and is passionate about making all three work in harmony. He is also a trained engineer, so his nerdy side comes out to play quite often. Outside of work you might find him stumbling over his words as he attempts to learn Spanish.


Jim Gagen

Customer Service Manager

Our education expert and the heart of SUMS customer service Jim works tirelessly to support our SUMS customers. With a passion for education, Jim inspires and informs the school community to create efficiencies for water and energy savings, while also setting an example for students. Outside of work, Jim is a long standing member of his local Surf Life Saving Club, an avid base-baller, and a Yankees Supporter – making for good office rivalries.

Outi Kristiina Turunen

Marketing and Customer Engagement Manager

Focus on SUMS brand & customers  with a Masters degree in sustainability from Finland she strengthens the company’s Nordic representation. Loves educating and is looking forward to developing SUMS stakeholder engagement and program management. On her free time she takes photos, studies digital marketing and enjoys long walks on the beautiful Northern Beaches.


Prue Picello

Finance & Administration

The office oracle Prue handles Finance and Administration at SUMS (because Miracle Worker is not a job title). Originally from the world of banking, Prue is an expert in all things finance, juggling HR whilst also doing her bit to keep the office running effectively and efficiently. Late at night, she can be found on the netball court doing her bit for women in sports.
